a dynamic installation exploring Sofia’s unique urban feel, as one of the youngest EU capitals, still in transition and meanwhile exposed to the global trends and pressures of urban development. the geopolitical location and historical roots give the city a specific position that bears advantages and disadvantages, but most notably place it within a rich european context, worth of exploration.
it addresses the social and ethical context of urban life and the notions of inclusion and exclusion at the intersections of the individual and the common, public and private.

talks / discussion

brings together artists, educators and architects, living and working in London and Sofia to inquire into the social and psychological phenomena, that inform our cities, with the shared belief that the creation of urban space is generated by its real users and to discuss on the possibilities of developing new and more inclusive urban planning approaches
