Bulgarian and foreign literature, albums, films, dictionaries, guides and others.

Q?Is there any detailed tourist information, and if so, what kind?

Yes, there is a separate section of the Institute, through Sofia Gallery, dedicated to tourism, where materials are available. These include tour operator and airline brochures, travel guides, maps, historical guides and more.

Q?Will there be any events outside London?
A.

Yes, we are currently developing our programme, which should also include some events in the North of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Q?When did the Institute open?
A.

The official opening ceremony was on the 28th September 2011. The Bulgarian Cultural Institute London is now open for everyone!

Q?Is there an entry charge for events?
A.

No, entry to the Institute is FREE! (Unless specifically stated otherwise)

Q?Who can visit the Bulgarian Cultural Institute?
A.

Anyone! The work of the Institute is aimed at all, be it Bulgarians or any other nationality. This applies to Membership as well. Also, Sofia Gallery, the main exhibition space (and the Library and reading room, once built) is constantly open for the public.
